The Account Management module provides all functionality required to set up, manage, and approve accounts within the Koala.Markets platform.
It ensures that all account-related activities β€” including creation, maintenance, and adjustments β€” follow a structured workflow and proper authorization.

Accounts in Koala.Markets are grouped into several types, each serving a specific purpose in the platform’s financial and operational architecture.

🏦 Bank Accounts​

Bank Accounts represent external bank accounts linked to the platform for settlement and payment purposes.
On this page, you can:

  • View all registered bank accounts.
  • Add new bank accounts by providing relevant details.
  • Update existing accounts when necessary.

Bank Accounts typically belong to the Tenant or Business Clients and are used for depositing and withdrawing client funds.


πŸ”— Internal Accounts​

Internal Accounts are system-owned accounts used for operational and technical purposes within the platform.
These accounts facilitate internal transfers, reconciliation, and segregating funds as required by regulatory or business needs.
On this page, you can:

  • View all internal accounts in the system.
  • Add new internal accounts with specific configurations.
  • Update existing internal accounts.

Only authorized personnel with the appropriate roles can manage Internal Accounts.


πŸ’° Deposit Accounts​

Deposit Accounts are client-facing accounts used to hold client funds and facilitate trading activities.
Each client (Retail or Business) can have one or more Deposit Accounts assigned to them.
On this page, you can:

  • View all deposit accounts in the system.
  • Add new deposit accounts for clients.
  • Update the details of existing deposit accounts.

Deposit Accounts are central to client activity, as they reflect the client’s available balance, blocked amounts, and trading limits.

The Adjustment Approvals section consolidates all approval workflows for account-related adjustments.
This ensures that any changes to balances, limits, or withdrawals are properly reviewed and authorized before being finalized.

Available Approval Types:​

    Review and approve or reject withdrawal requests submitted by clients.

  • πŸ“ˆ Disposition Limit Update Request Approval
    Approve or reject requests to update the disposition limit (maximum allowable funds) on an account.

  • πŸ”„ Internal Account Balance Adjustment Approval
    Approve or reject balance adjustments requested for internal system accounts.

  • πŸ’Ό Deposit Account Adjustment Approval
    Approve or reject adjustments made to deposit accounts, such as regulatory trades or manual corrections.

Account management operations β€” especially adjustments and approvals β€” are restricted to authorized users only.
For example, approval actions can only be performed by users with the Tenant Management role, ensuring control and accountability.
