This page, located under System → Dealing Desk Team, displays and manages the list of Investment Decision Makers within a tenant’s organization.
📘 Overview
What is the Dealing Desk Team?
The Dealing Desk Team represents the operational users or managers responsible for executing, approving, and monitoring investment decisions.
They act as intermediaries between the portfolio management system and execution platforms, ensuring compliance and authorization.
What is an Investment Decision Maker?
An Investment Decision Maker (IDM) is a designated individual authorized to make or approve investment decisions on behalf of the organization.
Each IDM record contains essential identification and operational details to manage access and responsibilities effectively.
🧭 Page Structure
The main table lists all Investment Decision Makers with the following columns:

| Name / Surname | The first and last name of the investment decision maker. |
| Contact email address. | |
| Country Code | The ISO country code of the user. |
| Date of Birth | The date of birth of the decision maker. |
| Concat Code | A concatenated identifier used for unique reference (generated automatically). |
| Short Code | A short numeric code identifying the decision maker. |
| Created Date / Update Date | Timestamps showing when the record was created and last updated. |
| Is Default | Indicates whether the record is set as the default decision maker. |
| Active? | Shows whether the decision maker is currently active in the system. |
| Action | Column for performing operations (edit, activate/deactivate, set as default). |
✏️ Create New Record
Clicking the “Create New” button opens a form that allows users to register a new Investment Decision Maker.
Required information typically includes:
- Name and Surname
- E-mail Address
- Country Code
- Date of Birth
- Automatically generated Concat Code and Short Code
After saving, the new record appears in the list with default inactive status until activated.
⚙️ Action Column Functions
Each row includes a set of action buttons:

| 🟣 Edit | Opens the record for editing existing information. | |
| 🔴 Deactivate (X) | Sets the Investment Decision Maker as non-active. The record remains in the list but cannot be used operationally. | |
| 🟢 Set Default (✔) | Marks the selected IDM as the default for the organization or team. Only one record can be default at a time. |
🔍 Search and Filtering
Users can search or filter decision makers by:
- Name or Surname
- Country Code
- Active / Default status
- Date range (Created or Updated date)
This helps quickly locate and manage specific individuals within the team.
